Thermal decomposition of Calcium carbonate and measurement of its equilibrium constant and free energy change |
| Module 2 : |
Pyro-metallurgical Extraction: Extraction of iron from fines through pelletisation, firing of pellets, and carbothermic reduction at low and high temperatures |
| Module 3 : |
Extraction of Cu from a low-grade ore through hydrometallurgical and Electro-metallurgical routes |
| Module 4 : |
Evaluation of corrosion potential and rate of stainless steel in 3.5 wt.% NaCl solution with varying Cl ion concentration |

Phase transformation: Precipitation kinetics and age-hardening phenomenon in Al-based alloys |
Course Objective
