Module 1 :

Module I 8 HOURS
Industrial scenario Industrial waste survey Toxicity of industrial effluents Preventing and minimizing wastes at the source Individual and Common Effluent Treatment Plants.
Module II 8 HOURS
Industrial wastewater treatment Advanced wastewater treatment with reuse techniques Residual management.
Module III 8 HOURS
Mass transport of solutes, degradation of organic compounds, application of concepts to predict groundwater contaminant movement.
Module IV 8 HOURS

Module V 8 HOURS
Computer Models: Exposure to computer models for surface water quality, groundwater quality and air quality for industrial effluent management.

Course Objective

To focus on management of industrial processes and plants.

2 .

The basic understanding of methods available for controlling pollutants emitted from industrial effluents

3 .

Toxicity nature of industrial effluents

1) To have a concept of present industrial pollution
