Help students to develop an understanding of free surface flow and enclosed flow in the real field but in the controlled environment. |

To study the variation of dependent hydraulic variables with independent variables of pipe flow and open channel flow. |

To verify the theoretical results with the experimental results. |

To study different flow meters that will be useful for flow measurements and design study in water resources engineering. |
