Assignment 1: Introduction to Building drawing and design of Residential Building [3 hours]

Course Objective

To understand the basic concepts, purpose, functions, and types of buildings (Residential, Industrial, Institutional). |

To learn principles of site selection, building orientation, and efficient space distribution. |
| 3 . |
To develop line plans and transform them into detailed building plans. |
| 4 . |
To study key structural components such as doors, windows, foundations, and staircases. |
