Descriptive Statistics: Frequency distribution.

Module 2 :

Applications of Descriptive Statistics in Charts, Graphs, etc.

Module 3 :

Use of statistical packages for correlation.

Module 4 :

Understanding of ANOVA principles.

Module 5 :

Application of one-way and two-way ANOVA.

Module 6 :

Use Cross Tabulation, t-test, and Simple and Multiple Regression.

Module 7 :

Solving Linear Programming Problems.

Module 8 :

Solving Transportation and Assignment Models.

Module 9 :

Solving Network Flow Models.

Module 10 :

Solving Decision-making Problems in Project Management.

Course Objective

1 .

This course will help students to understand the theory of Statistics.

2 .

This course will help students to have hands-on training in spreadsheet software.

3 .

This course will help students to have hands-on training in data analytical tools such as SPSS, R-Programming, and MATLAB.

4 .

This course will help students examine network flow models and will help perform decision-making in project management.

Course Outcome

1 .

CO1: The students can formulate descriptive statistics with charts and graphs using the spreadsheet software.

CO2: The students will be able to interpret the data using various statistical analyses.

CO3: The students can solve Linear Programming Problems, transportation, and assignment problems by appropriate techniques and evaluate the behavior under different parameters.
