Module 1 :

Course Prerequisite: UG Level lab on Basic Computer Programming

Experiment 1: Quantity takeoff, preparation, and delivery of the bid or proposal of an engineering construction project.

Experiment 2: Design of a simple equipment information system for a construction project.

Experiment 3: Scheduling a small construction project using tools like M.S. project scheduling systems.

Experiment 4: Reports and tracking of a construction project using M.S. project scheduling systems.

Experiment 5: Scheduling a small construction project using PRIMAVERA scheduling systems.

Experiment 6: Reports and tracking of a construction project using PRIMAVERA scheduling systems.

Experiment 7: Simulation models for project risk analysis.

Experiment 8: Virtual progress tracking of small construction projects using Navisworks.

Experiment 9: Familiarization with Building Information Modelling (BIM) Concepts.

Experiment 10: Practical Demonstration of BIM Application.

Course Objective

This course will give exposure to students in utilizing sophisticated spreadsheet programs

This course will give exposure to students in utilizing estimation software, and other package programs.

3 .

This course will give exposure to students to track and schedule a construction project using various softwares.

4 .

This course will help students in developing a simulation model for analyzing the project risk.
