Module 1: Industrially important microbes and products
Isolation and screening, Strain characterization, Strain improvement of industrially important microorganisms. Identification and detection of fermentative products
Module 2: Pre-Production process
Production media development, optimization of process parameters, inoculum development, Industrial sterilization,
Module 3: scale up and Industrial reactor
Scale up, Reactor design, mass transfer and heat transfer in reactor system
Module 4: Production process of some important biotechnology products
Production of Enzymes: lipase, protease Biofuel: Biohydrogen, biodiesel, bioethanol, biobutanol Vaccines, Biopolymers, biofertilizers
