Module 1: MATLAB Applications to Fluid Flow Problems (9 hours)

Course Objective

Help students to develop an understanding of free surface flow and enclosed flow for different ideal conditions. |
| 2 . |
To study the 1-d, 2-d and 3-d softwares for computation of flow variables in both pipe flow and open channel flow. |
| 3 . |
To study the variation of dependent hydraulic variables with independent variables of both pipe flow and open channel flow. |
| 4 . |
To verify the theoretical / experimental results with the CFD results |
