Preparation of feasibility report and detailed project report Production planning and scheduling

Mine equipment planning and estimation of their numbers Infrastructure planning, restructure planning Rehabilitation, mine closure and postindustrial land use planning.

To create awareness on various features of mine planning as compared to other industries

To Provide information on latest formalities of preparation of feasibility report and detailed project report with reference to latest amendments in Indian mining law with case studies

To help students in planning mines for required production , productivity etc for underground and opencast mines

To design the mining systems with due care to mine closure and Corporate social responsibility for sustainable mining of mineral deposits

CO1: Students can understand basic principles of mine planning for development and extraction of minerals
CO2: Students will be able to plan and design underground and opencast mines fulfilling the requirements of concerned statutory requirements
