Types of systems - mechanical, electrical, electronics Sensors, Factory Automation Sensors, Electrical sensors, Process Automation Sensors and their interfaces Advanced automation functions, Levels of automations, Digitalization and the Networked Economy, Drivers, Enablers. Introduction and overview of Internet of Things, cloud computing, cyber-physical systems.
