Syllabus

Module 1 :

FE analysis of rod, bar, beam, truss and frame. Plane stress and plain strain problem. Vibration analysis of rod and beams. Analysis of plate and shells.

Course Objective

To acquire some knowledge of FEM using FE Software

Course Outcome

CO1: Knowledge will be gained on basic concept of FEM method.
CO2: Able to apply FEM to practical problems.
CO3: Knowledge will be enhanced to implement the concept to analyze a theoretical law.
