To be familiar with sampling techniques and analytical methods for determining the contaminant levels in water and air.

2 .

To analyze the characteristics and performance of cyclone separator.

3 .

To analyze the characteristic and performance of fixed bed adsorption column

Course Outcome

1 .

1. To determine the water/waste water characteristics like, alkalinity, acidity, dissolved oxygen, TDS, TSS, TS, TOC, COD, BOD, dissolved chlorides and residual chlorine, pH, conductivity, turbidity.
2. To determine the air quality indicators like SPM, PM10, and PM2.5
3. To handle the analytical instruments like UV-Vis-spectrophotometer, TOC analyzer, ion analyzer etc.
4. To characterize and analyze the performance of cyclone separator in separating particulate matter(PM) from polluted air.
5. To characterize and analyze the performance of fixed bed adsorber in removing water pollutants.
