Converter topologies for AC/DC and DC/AC power conversion, an overview of applications of voltage source converters pulse width modulation techniques for 1-phase and 3-phase bridge converters, sine-triangle PWM, Third harmonic injection PWM, space vector PWM, bus-clamping PWM, space vector based PWM, advanced PWM techniques, PWM at low switching frequency, selective harmonic elimination, off-line optimized PWM, calculation of switching and conduction losses compensation for dead time and DC voltage regulation, estimation of current ripple and torque ripple in inverter-fed drives, linear and overmodulation methods of conventional and multilevel inverters/converters. Analysis of DC link current and DC capacitor current in 3-phase voltage source inverter, Analysis of Torque ripple in induction motor drive, Evaluation of Conduction and Switching losses in 3-phase inverter, and Design of 3-phase inverter for lower switching losses in 3-phase VSI, Effect of dead time for continuous PWM schemes and bus-clamping PWM schemes.
