Course Objective

To understand the design concepts in a cellular architecture, channel assignment,interference , system capacity etc considering evolution and standards, |

To study radio propagation mechanisms over wireless channels and to know about conditions for various indoor and outdoor mobile radio channels in large-scale and small-scale fading scenarios.

To evaluate techniques to mitigate channel dispersion, fading, and do performance analysis. |

To understand various techniques in mobile communication receivers to overcome pathloss and fading. |

To implement pilot aided channel estimation schemes for single antenna and multiantenna systems. |

CO1: Knowlege about the evolution, fundamental principles and design concepts of cellular communication system through critical assessment. |

CO2:Knowledge of indoor and outdoor Propagation Models and practical link budget design using Path loss Models & differentiate pathloss from fading. |
