Module 1: Review of the fundamental principles of propagation and antennas. Frequency bands for mobile radio systems propagation in free space, over reflecting surface. Effects of atmosphere. ducting and nonstandard refraction.

The characteristics of antenna will be discussed to understand its working principle. |

The procedure to model the wave propagating path will be discussed |

The knowledge will be extended to design wireless communication system |

This theory will be applied to simple RADAR application |
