Module 1 :

MODULE I: 15 HOURS
A. Water Quality Analysis
1. Determination of pH of given water and wastewater
2. Determination of turbidity by using nephelometre for water sample
3. Determination of alkalinity and acidity of water and wastewater
4. Optimum dose of coagulants by jar test
5. Total Hardness.of given water and wastewater
6. Identify and quantify various solids present in water sample
7. Quantify the residual chlorine present in water sample
8. Determine chloride present in water sample
9. Determine Biochemical Oxygen Demand of the water and wastewater sample
10. Determine the Dissolved Oxygen level of the water sample using Wtinkler's method

MODULE II: 6 HOURS
B. Ambient Air Quality Analysis
11 Identify the Respirable Particulate Matter (PM10) concentration of present air quality
12. Determine the Total Suspended Particulate matter (TSP) present in air sample
13. Determination of SO2 in indoor air.
14. Determination of NH3 in indoor air.

MODULE III: 9 HOURS
C. Noise Pollution measurement
15. Indoor and ambient noise level analysis
16. Microbiological culture analysis of bacterial samples
17. Perform the MPN Test for the given water sample
