Module I
Sections of Solids:
Introduction of sections Section of solids – true shape of section
Module II
Surface development:
Development of surfaces preparation of physical models using surface development (cube, cone, frustum, cylinder, pyramid)
Module III
Intersection of solids:
Introduction to intersection of different solid objects showing intersection lines and projection of views
Module IV
Perspective drawings:
Perspective views of simple and complex geometrical forms (one point, two-point perspective) views of buildings and objects from different viewing angles
Module V
Sciography:
Drawing different three-dimensional objects with geometrically derived sciography

To learn the technique to draw sections of solids, intersection of solids and development of solid surfaces.

To learn the technique to draw perspective views and sciography.

1. Ability to comprehend technical language describing the geometrical section of an object and manually drafting them on drawing sheets.
2. Ability to develop the surface of a composition of solid to make a three-dimensional form from a two-dimensional material.
3. Ability to understand and visualize the composition of solids and their intersections.
4. Ability to manually draw perspective views for an arrangement of solids.
5. Ability to add sciographic details in the manually drafted sheets.
