Study of photography: aperture, shutter, speed, light, composition, etc. Digital photography and digital printing. B/w photography and colour photography. Creative exploration. Studio Photography. Product photography.
Portraiture. History of Photography. Critical perspectives in Photography. Techniques of photography-camera and dark room. Learning to use camera and lighting for studio photography. Techniques of presentation.

To make the students aware of the evolution of photography.

To develop sound fundamentals of the techniques and principles in photography.

1. Students become confident in the knowledge of the history, theory and techniques of photography.
2. Students are able to confidently apply principles and techniques of photography in their design practice.
