Course Objective

To craft the understanding among the undergraduate students about different types of indentation hardness testing. |

To understand the idea about tensile testing and analyzing the data of tensile testing for steel and non-ferrous materials. |
| 3 . |
To understand the fatigue behavior of materials and know about plotting the fatigue data. |
| 4 . |
To learn about the fracture toughness of materials and its determination through micro Vickers hardness testing. |
Course Outcome

Students will develop the understanding regarding various mechanical testing such as hardness, tensile, fatigue fracture toughness etc. of metallic materials. The outcomes are as follows:
