In this course, students will explore the different important ceramic raw materials used in ceramic and allied industries. They will be studying about in general availability, properties, crystal structure, and important applications of different raw materials. The course will also illustrate the effect of heat on different raw materials with reference to phase transformation, thermal expansion, melting, decomposition behaviour, compound formation, stabilization
