Syllabus

1. Simulation of basic electrical Circuits.

2. Design of diode based half-wave and full-wave rectifier.

3. Design of passive first order and second order low pass and high pass filter and first order bandpass filter.

4. Design inverting, non-inverting, differential and summer amplifier using OPAMP.

5. Design and study the transient behavior of passive and active RC integrator, differentiator circuits.

6. Study the transient and frequency domain behavior of a first order series and parallel RLC circuit.

7. Study and design of active first order and second order low pass and high pass, bandpass and bandstop filter using OPAMP.

8. Study and design various DC biasing circuit of the BJT (2N2222A).

9. Study and design single and multistage R-C coupled amplifier using the BJT (2N2222A).

10. Study the operation of the feedback oscillator and design a Colpitts Oscillator using the BJT (2N2222A).

The purpose of lab experiment is to build circuit construction skills using different circuit elements using circuit simulation software.

The purpose of lab experiment is to familiar with diode and transistor spice models.

The purpose of lab experiment is to design various diode circuits using NI simulation software Multisim.

The purpose of lab experiment is to simulate output response for the designed circuits such as transient (time domain) analysis and AC (frequency domain) analysis.

1. To be able to verify the laws and principles of electrical circuits, understand the relationships and differences between theory and practice.
2. To be able to analyze the transient and frequency domain behavior of different electrical circuits.
3. To be able to understand and design various passive and active electrical circuits.
4. To be able to utilize the knowledge of analog electronics to design and analyze the various passive and active electronic circuits.
