Module 1: Introduction: Signals, systems and signal processing, concept of frequency in continuous and discrete time signal Discrete-time Signals and Systems: Discrete time signals and systems, analysis of LTI system and implementation, correlation.[5 hours]

To enable student to learn about digital signal processing which is the back bone of recent digital algorithms. |

A graduate student will be able to design and develop Digital LTI systems, FIR and IIR filters, FFT algorithms, etc. |
