Rourkela is located on
the Howarh-Mumbai rail route and is approximately
450 kilometers from Howarh. The city has direct connection with
New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Nagpur, Hyderabad,
Bokaro, Tata, Ahmedabad, Ranchi, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Sambalpur,
Puri and a number of other important places all over the country.

It is connected with all important towns in the state by road.
There is regular interstate and intrastate bus services to and
from Rourkela. It is 470 km from Bhubaneswar and 192 km from
Sambalpur by Road. Once in Rourkela, road travel is the best
option to visit other attractions in orissa.
The nearest airports are Kolkata, Bhubaneswar and Ranchi. Rourkela
is connected to all three by convenient trains. |
