| COURSE OBJECTIVES |
| The need for effective leadership has become paramount as organizations restructure and reconsider their growth strategies and competitive advantage. Developing efficient workforce and leaders is the single greatest challenge that all enterprises face today. New entrants to job must continually develop core skills in order to achieve targets and existing employees must open up to thinking and learning as a means of adding to their skills set. In an increasingly complex world, we must rely on our colleagues across department, organizational, and cultural boundaries in order to get things done. The challenge of coming together is considerable and thus we must develop productive relationships and successfully manage differences. Managers and team leaders are required to not just to have technical or specialist expertise, but also to have a range of personal attributes and abilities to be successful in challenging situations.
To become the driving force for improving performance, quality, and innovation, it is essential to understand one’s own self as well as others better. Handling emotions and gearing them towards a positive outcome; achieving work-life balance; communicating and responding more effectively, and inspiring others to do the same are some of the competencies every employee must possess for optimizing productivity.
This course is aimed at improving the overall supervisory and management effectiveness of professionals as well as of those who aspire to become one in near future. The modules are designed to provide essential knowledge base and skill set to help the participants to successfully navigate the changing world of work. |
