First Course on Digital DIGITAL IMAGE PROCESSING |

| This
course presents the theory and practice of digital image
processing with Matlab. Numerous examples and practical
hands-on exercises are included in the course. One major
topic of image processing is covered in every lecture, typically
consists of a discussion of the basic theoretical concepts
and some examples illustrating practical imaging problems.
The lectures provide a practical learning experience. |

| Professors of NIT
RKL having immense experience in image processing and signal
processing shall present each topic of the course. |

| COURSE
DELIVERY |
| Courses are delivered
as instructor-led classes. Course topics are presented in
the forenoon session followed by laboratory classes with Matlab
in the afternoon session. An essential constituent of course
delivery is research related discussion on each topic. |

AUDIENCE |
| The course is designed
primarily for scholars who would like to further their education
in image processing. Students of computer, electrical, and
electronics engineering, life science and medical science,
as well as professionals working in these fields would find
this course extremely useful and interesting. |
