Each
house should elect two representatives to each of
the four societies such as Technical Society, Sports
and Games, Literary and Cultural Society, and Film
and Music through secret ballot.
Similarly, each house will
elect a house leader through secret ballot. It is the
duty of the house leader to motivate the members of
house to participate in various competitions and bring
pride and glory for the house.
The student representatives
of NCC and NSS will be selected by the Professor-in-charge
(EAA) based on their performance records. In addition,
two representatives will be nominated by the Director
to each of the four societies (listed 1 to 4). The nominated
members will be entrusted with the responsibility of
all activities of a society if the elected members do
not perform satisfactorily at any point of time. The
General Secretary of Ladies Hall, will be nominated
to the Executive Council of SAC as girl representative.
The elected and nominated
members of a society/forum will choose a Convener for
the Society either through consensus or secret ballot
or the mechanism devised by the Election Officer. The
convener of the forum will be responsible for the smooth
functioning of forum.
