National Workshop on
Software Engineering Applications for Computer Networks (SEA-CN’11)
8th Dec. to 10th Dec. 2011
About The Workshop |
| Computer networks are the fundamental building blocks that enable the users to stay connected any time and any where required. Despite the interest raised for this research topic, the development of software for some special networks like ad hoc network protocols is still carried out in a rather primitive fashion. The protocol designers face several challenges like functional and non-functional requirements for such a resource constrained network. |
| In such a network community, where there is a growing awareness of the need for the methodologies, techniques and tools that could simplify the development task and enable to test and validate the resulting software, Software engineering support is therefore sought to ease the development task and to make the resulting software more reliable and dependable. |
| The aim of the workshop on “Software Engineering Applications for Ad hoc Networks” is to bring together the researchers, practitioners and students belonging to both the computer networks and software engineering communities to exchange their recent research results on the topic as well as to stimulate discussion about the core open problems and to define a shared research agenda. |
