To publish
the bi-monthly news bulletin “RENAISSANCE”,
that serves as a forum for views on a variety of issues,
mostly related to campus life besides reporting the
student activities in diverse fields.
To bring out the literary magazine
- Fifth Quadrant annually.
To conduct workshops on creative
writing and National/Institute level competitions.
To publish the souvenir of
the students annually.
To publish “Roving Eye”
during the period of Cultural Extravaganza (Spring Festival).
To promote and encourage extracurricular
activities of the students in the areas of drama, dance,
art, craft, sculpture etc.
To conduct Induction Programme
for fresh students. Institute will arrange the bus facility
to ply between railway station and bus stand to Institute
in order to receive the fresh students and their parents.
For proper organization and coordination, society may
help the concerned department. There should not be formation
of Anti Ragging Squad but dedicated student volunteers
may be identified for necessary help.
To organize one-day long Institute
day and three-day long Spring Festival "NITRutsav"
and assist hostel authority on Hall day celebration.
To organise a inter-hall “RANGOLI”
competition on Deewali.
