BIOGRAPHY

Manoj Kumar Moharana is an Associate Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, National Institute of Technology Rourkela, India. He received his Ph.D. degree from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, India in 2012. His research interests include battery thermal management, microscale fluid flow and heat transfer, flow boiling heat transfer, multiphase flow, heat pipe, computational fluid dynamics, and cryogenic heat transfer.

  • Thermal Systems Laboratory,  National Institute of Technology Rourkela,   This is a research based laboratory developed which involves experimental, numerical as well as analytical research work involving fluid flow and/or heat transfer. Currently students are working on pulsating/oscillating heat pipe, micro heat-exchangers, heat transfer enhancement techniques, two-phase flow etc.
