BIOGRAPHY

I am currently working as Assistant Professor at National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, Odisha. Right from the school, I was fond of Sanskrit but later during my higher studies, I learnt Sanskrit not merely as a language but as a treasure of wisdom in the lineage of Sastra Parampara. Bearing the background of Modern Sciences, I am able to decode the Agamic and Tantrik conceptions with a scientific temper. The topics like dreams, consciousness, and precognition have been the subjects of my interest. During my doctoral work, I investigated the hidden secrets about dreams and precognition with reference to Indian Philosophy. Then, I joined as faculty in NIT Rourkela in 2015 and since then I have been disseminating the knowledge about Indic Sciences to the Engineering students. I have also worked on Project sponsored by ICPR, New Delhi titled as "A Study relating Consciousness and Spiritual Intelligence with special reference to Kashmir Saivism". While working on the project, I explored the dimensions of Consciousness in the light of Agama and Tantra Sastra that provided me a new insight about various psychological phenomena. This study further got reinforced through the understanding of sadhana paksha of Tantra that is considered to be esoteric and mystical and provided the knowledge about the concepts of time travel. This precious knowledge is being passed to the students through various courses in NITR.
