| The College has dispensary with
full time Medical Officers residing in the campus. Any medical
charges outside this dispensary have to be borne by the concerned
students. If college vehicle or outside ambulance is used
for admission to outside hospitals, the corresponding charges
have to be borne by the concerned students.

| The institute Dispensary has been
started from 1961 at the time of inception of R.E.C. At present
the dispensary is providing service to all the students, staff
members and their families. Annual attendance in the dispensary
is around 30,000 patients. Basic investigations are carried
out in the dispensary and drugs provided to the staffs and students
free of cost. |

| At present there is no indoor facility
and the patients are referred to Ispat General Hospital whenever
required. As per the advice of I.G.H, the patients are referred
to other hospitals out side Rourkela for further treatment. |
|
| At present the dispensary has two
doctors (one of them lady doctor), one pharmacist, one medical
technician, one dresser, two attendants and one sweeper. The
dispensary has got its separate building and is situated centrally
in the residential area. |
