BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Situ Rani Patre is an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, National Institute of Technology Rourkela, India. Earlier she was with Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing, Kurnool. She also worked at MNNIT Allahabad, NIT Raipur and IIIT Bhopal. She received her M. Tech. and Ph. D. degree in Electronics Engg. (Microwave Engg.) from IIT (Banaras Hindu University) Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India in 2011 and 2017 respectively. She has authored and co-authored several research articles in di?erent peer reviewed international journals, conferences and two book chapters. She is recipient of Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship 2013. She is member of IEEE, IEEE Women in Engineering, Antennas and Propagation Society, Microwave Theory and Technique, IEEE sensor council. She is the first IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society Yong Professional (APS YP) Ambassadors 2022 from India and only female (APS YP) Ambassadors till date. She was selected as BRICS Young Scientist 2023. Her research interests include frequency independent antenna, planar broadband antenna, self-complementary antenna, UWB MIMO antenna and chipless RFID sensor tags. She is reviewer of IEEE TAP, IET MAP, JEWA, RF CAD, MOTL and Journal of Electronic Materials.
